THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE FILM

Meet the Writer / Creator, Director and Casting Director helping bring ALL KINDZA MADNESS to life — a story rooted in the energy, emotion and memories of the UK rave scene.

Dean Murray, writer and creator of All Kindza Madness

Dean Murray

I am an old raver still living in the past, with a dream to go back in time to the way things used to be, when life was more simple and fun.

I wrote this film because I wanted to tell a real story of how it used to be from a raver’s point of view — the way of life back then, the ups and downs, and the madness.

I also felt that a real story of those times had not yet been told. I first wrote the film on paper in the late 1990s, and over the years I have moved it onto computer and adapted it into what it is now.

Peace & Love 🙂

Donato Cinicolo

I was born in Italy and my family moved to the UK when I was a boy. As a teenager, I was given my first camera and film by Bob Rogers, a retired war photographer. This opened the door into another world for me, and I was eager to explore it.

Around 1999, I bought my first digital camera, a Sony F828 with a Zeiss lens. Suddenly, the medium of movie-making was possible at low cost. I embraced the new opportunity and began making short films and music videos.

I have written, filmed and directed many short films, mostly dramas. I enjoy working within a small film-making team, and particularly love working collaboratively with young actors.
